Have you heard this saying before; do you know your roots. This is an old Liberian saying, spoken by the older folks, if they want to engage in conversation about your past. They usually ask you about your past history, of family members, especially your parents, and elders. The process is to understand your background and who you really are. This is when you should disclose the importance of family and where you began. Staying close to your roots open doors. Like Jesus said “I am the vine and you are the branches, whoever stay in me will receive true life.” Staying planted keep you feed and will not enable you to succumb to vulnerability.
